What role, if any, does alcohol play on your program? I love a glass of wine and I regularly have a glass of wine when I sit down at night. It is rarely more than one but it is something I do habitually. I never go out to clubs drinking all night long and only very occasionally would I go to a bar to have drinks there. But I do love my glass of wine.
I know most trainers would say, no alcohol is better than some. However there have been many studies to say a glass of red wine a day is good for the heart and has health benefits. I have heard of people who have given up alcohol entirely in order to lose weight and in turn know others who have been to weight watchers, reached their goal without ever counting points for their drinks.
I just wondered how many of you out there have cut out alcohol completely? And how many notice a big change when you do have a drink or two?
