Add Kettlebell Exercises To Your Weight Loss Diet Plans

You lose weight by following diet plans that are low in calories and performing exercises that burn calories.

Cardio and weight training both burn calories, so which one is the most effective?

The answer is kettlebell exercises.  Performing kettlebell snatches will burn 20 calories each minute.  The University of Wisconsin did the research study to find out.

Check out this list of how many calories are burned per minute during each type of exercise (based on a 180 lb. male):

  • Elliptical – 9.8 calories
  • Rowing (vigorously) – 11.5 calories
  • Swimming – 13.6 calories
  • Spinning – 14.3 calories
  • Running (pace of 7 min./mile) – 19 calories

If you’re looking for quick weight loss, you can jump on the treadmill every day or just pick up a kettlebell.  The kettlebell is a fun option to add to your weight loss diet plans.
