Thomas Edison on walking

Posted by Tamar F.

“Most of the exercise I get is from standing and walking all day from one laboratory table to another. I derive more benefit and entertainment from this than some of my friends and competitors get from playing games like golf.” – Thomas Edison. Not only was Thomas Edison the inventor of the light bulb and the phonograph, but he was also the founder of what is known today as General Electric. If you are on your feet all day, every day… then you don’t have to worry so much about organized sports and gym activities. I’m sure that postal carriers and movers don’t have to worry about working out!
