2 days after my first walk/jog, my shins are yelling! I won't let that keep me from continuing to get outside and walk. Stretching is the key...

Hi there........were you walking uphill? I've noticed my shins can be a little sore when I target more hilly walk routes. I live in an area where it's virtually impossible to walk anywhere outdoors without walking at least on an incline most of the time. I purposely head for the hills, so I can relate to your problem. For me it works to change up my routes so that I'm not just walking up hills and give my shins a chance to recover...good luck. :)
