Whether you walk on dry land or in waist high water a recent study at the University of Utah found that you would lose the same amount of weight. People who walk in pools, will walk slower be cause of the added resistance and it’s great if you have an injury or joint problems. This summer I walked in the pool part of the time. I couldn’t do my early morning walk and the pool was so much cooler in the hot afternoons. Have you ever tried walking in water?
