I’ll tell you a business where you will do some serious walking – the convention business! My dad used to supply furniture for major conventions, like Book Expo America. Conventions at major venues like Chicago, Las Vegas, Anaheim, New York, etc., take up ACRES. In order to see all the industry exhibits, you walk and walk and walk. Best to have your most comfy shoes on! Many exhibits give away all kinds of free samples and goodies, so even if the exhibits aren’t exactly your cup of tea, you will want to see them all anyway. You have to cover ground quickly, because most conventions charge by the day for their passes.
