I have both a herniated and a bulging disc. I have been to my doctor who has cleared me for my workout, so I'm not asking for any sort of medical advice. What I am asking though is if anyone also has lower back problems and if they have any stretching/exercise tricks post cardio workout that makes their back feel better.
My mother in law has the same thing. I think there are support braces and also, wraps, that you can use to support yourself when walking. Also, wear very comfy shoes -- no need to be suffering in more than one area. I also know that my mother in law has a in-tub jacuzzi, which she says helps. She likes flat walking surfaces, but we did get her to walk up to Jefferson's Rock in Harper's Ferry! She was never supposed to be able to do that, but she got it in her mind that she wanted to see the view, so she did it. I wish I had taken a picture -- nobody believes that she got up there.
