i was just looking around the site, and i noticed walk-a-thon as one of the activities... i remember them being really fun (and their usually for a good cause too)

I'm glad to read you're planning on participating in a walk-a-thon. There's so many great organizations out there to support, many of which use this type of event as a way to raise funds and awareness. Among them are the American Cancer Society, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and more. Feel free to add to the list, anyone, if you know of any others.
