Discover the best foods to burn fat, even the stubborn belly fat! This is not a full list of foods guaranteed to burn fat for everyone. It is a start for people needing and wanting to burn fat while eating real food.

All calories are not equal - there are good calories and bad caloriesgood calories, bad calories. The calories in bread are not going to give you energy like the calories from eggs or cheese. Eat the right calories for weight loss.

Eat fat to burn fat. Stop the low fat and fat free foods. Stay away from vegetable oils and margarine. Go back to real oils like butter.

Tip - Don't skip breakfast. Eating in the morning is the most important part of healthy weight loss. Breakfast gives you energy and triggers metabolism for the full day.

Eggs - Yes eggs are good for weight loss. Eggs are a great source of protein so you don't get hungry too soon. I used to eat oatmeal for breakfast and wondered how I was starving in 2 hours! Since eating eggs I feel full for at least 4 hours. Use eggs from chickens raised outside on real pastures. Meat is a good source of protein and helps weight loss. Not all meat has these fat burning benefits. Only humanely raised animals give us healthy meat. Grass fed meat helped me lose the belly fat and it this meat tastes better than cheap meat from the poor feedlot animals. Grass fed meat is lower in calories and fat. Dairy is wonderful for fat burn. Not all dairy counts. Look for raw cheese (goat or cow) from animals raised on grass. Raw milk is great if you can find it. If possible drink non-homogenized milk from cows raised on grass.

Vegetables are healthy and the leafy green veggies are the ones you can eat. They may not burn any fat but they are yummy and you still need veggies. Also eat from the cruciferous veggies: broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, Brussels sprouts. Or asparagus, cucumber, eggplant, peppers, string beans, zucchini. Just don't eat so many that you fill up on them. Remember the protein and fat for fat burn.

There are many individual foods that help in weight loss. I'll be posting more of these but to start on your flat belly foods remember that fat and protein is key to fat burn.

Packaged diet foods are not going to add long term benefits and may cause health issues if used long term. Diet pills and shakes do not work and are not a healthy choice.
