I am eating extra carbs today; this is part of a “refeed” after many, many weeks of alternating moderate carb days with low carb days. What did I eat with my extra servings of carbs today? Oatmeal!
My favorite oatmeal has peanut butter (of course) stirred in. At lunch today, though, I remembered that we have pumpkin in the fridge, leftover from David making protein cakes . Add some cinnamon and a cool, gray Buffalo day, and you have instant autumn in a bowl.
And if you’re too lazy to eat your protein separately, put some right in the oatmeal using whey protein powder .
