Weight Gain Question

Posted by laluuk

Hi, I am 26/m  and am a Lacto-Vegetarian. I am underweight.

I have been to my doctor and I'm all clear, nothing wrong with me. The doc says I need to eat more.

Could you please advice/point me to some high calorie recipes, which would help me gain some weight.

Many thanks
Dev

Nuts and avocados are high in calories and healthy fats- throw some nuts into your cereal in the morning, add avocado to sandwiches/cereals, snack on trail mix/granola. Add peanut butter to fruit you eat (also delicious in oatmeal).

Base for day around 3 meals and 3 snacks- some great snacks for helping with weight gain are things like dried fruit + nuts with a glass of milk, granola and yogurt with extra dried fruit added, toast with peanut butter and honey, smoothies made with milk, banana, peanut butter, crackers with guacamola, etc.
