I know you’ve watched the Karate Kid. Who could resist the cute little Pat Morita and Ralph Machio? I mean really…if you have yet to see it, you need to watch it, NOW.
I was taking on the role of the Karate Kid today…as I forgot my hat for the field. Oops.
So I pulled of the Bandana/Aviators/Fleece (and I know you love the awesome color coordination…you just wait until you see what else I was wearing!) get up to cover as much skin from the wind as possible. And believe me, there is no doubt I am wind burnt today. It hurts, BADLY.
Anyhow, on the way to the site I noshed on my breakfast…that did a horrible job of keeping me full! It was a combo of greek yogurt, strawberries, blackberries, a kiwi, kashi go lean crunch and pb. You’d think this would work, right?
Eh, WRONG. I had to nosh on my Tempting Trial Mix from TJ’s to hold me over for the morning!
But check out the other part of my awesome wardrobe for the day: GATORS!!!
I know you love the camo…on top of the baby blue bandana, brown aviators, green and gray fleece, dark blue pants, camo gators, hiking boots and a marroon and black/gray hiking backpack. OH yeah…this is why I don’t work around people. Makes you wonder how I able to go from this to this . Hah!

Of course I have to be careful of these babies that could draw that blood out of me…and insert neurotoxins and kill me. Go figure, right?

I was starving for lunch and couldn’t wait for my sandwich! My Dad got me some fresh Squaw Bread at the farmer’s market this weekend and I couldn’t help but dive in. This bread has such a deep flavor, with some nuts and it nice and chewy…I can’t wait to have some more tomorrow! What would you want to put on this bread?!
I had an orange and some dried gooseberries on the side to end on a sweet note…
And then we finished! Can you see the relief on my face!!!??
We finally headed home after some exciting discoveries today and 10 hrs of work! I noshed on a banana and some more of my Tempting TM…um, which is basically gone. That can’t be good…two days? Damnit!
Since we didn’t walk as much as I have been today (we only did from 8-9 miles today vs the 11-12 I was doing yesterday and last week!) I wanted to get in some strength training as part of my new years resolution to get in two ST sessions a week! I’m definitely going to start doing yoga soon as all this walking is making all my muscles so tight! Especially when we walk up the sides of almost vertical hills! Ouch!
You can bet I was starving when we finally got dinner going! We had a work meeting during dinner and we ordered pizza from the same place we got it last week…I had asked for 1/2 the pizza to be w/o cheese but they messed up and ended up making me my very own small cheeseless pizza, with all the veggies! Holy freak’n tasty!
I started off with three pieces…and there were two more after this!
I was about hangry when I started eating…and now feel better.
Sadly I didn’t think about protein when I started eating this and should have put on some chickpeas to sub out the cheese…so now I’m hungry…time to find a snack…and watch Glee!!!
Only two more days of work and I’ve got a four day weekend! Yay!!! Or…oh shit, so many sleepless and mad nights this weekend…
