First of all, my goal for when we get back from South Africa is to have more recipes to post. Let’s just say we’ve been eating a lot of the old standbys and breakfast for dinner (which often means cereal…).
I wrote last week about our trip to Cape Town . We leave tomorrow morning on a 6am flight. I’m not sure how much I’ll be posting – but I’m sure I’ll be all over instagram .
As we’ve been packing, I’ve realized why people avoid traveling with babies. There’s so much more to think about. However, I think it’s definitely going to be worth it. While Cape Town may seem like a crazy first trip, I think it’ll be a good one. Since we lived there, we’re familiar with where we’re going and friends have graciously let us borrow all sorts of baby gear, so we’re traveling light!
If you’re planning on traveling with your baby soon (or know someone who is…), I’ve found these things helpful:
Isis Parenting Sleep Webinars : These are great in general. But, if you scroll down, there’s one on time changes for babies. I thought it was really helpful. There are also ones for breastfeeding that are great.
