Sisterly Saturday

Posted Nov 27 2012 6:56pm
Anyone who knows me or reads this blog, knows how much I miss this crazy blonde that I'm lucky enough to call Sister.  When we moved to Tennessee, my cell phone minutes sky-rocketed, my monthly amount of text messages doubled, and I finally had to add unlimited everything to my service to keep in touch with her.  It's a tiny price to pay in order to stay current in each other's lives since we now have 6+ hours between us.  At times I get all sniffle-sniffle-teary-eyed and want to move back to Alabama and live right now the street from her again but obviously, that's a bit crazytown, usa.  No matter what (the good, bad, and the long distance) we are stuck with each other and I wouldn't have it any other way. So when Sister rode back to Chattanooga with us on Saturday, we pulled out all the stops.....
We snagged the best pool table in Hill City Pizza right in front of the tiger tail kicking also known as the Iron Bowl.  Why so turrrible, Auburn?!
We ate food like we didn't just feast on a Thanksgiving spread the day before. In less than 24 hours, we managed to demolish tacos and guacamole, a large pizza, garden bagel, hummus, and German nachos. I'm hurting just thinking about it all. And then we scored a rock star table in front of a band which we thought would be playing reggae tunes.  Unfortunately, it turned out to be a mix of heavy metal ridiculousness. Maybe our team didn't win the big game, maybe our pants are still too tight, maybe the band wasn't our cup of tea, maybe I look possessed in that last picture, but we had the best time just being together.
