We moved 3200 miles from Boston to Northern California a couple of weeks ago. As we were packing up our apartment in Boston, we realized that there were a number of things we should have done while we lived in Boston – including the Freedom Trail (we lived a block from it, so I think we probably walked 90% of it – but I don’t know if that counts!).
So, with this move, we started a bucket list of places we need to visit and things we need to do while living in this part of the world.
It’s definitely a working list and will likely grow as time goes on, but here’s what we have so far:
Drive across the Golden Gate Bridge
Visit the Berkeley campus
Go to the Facebook campus
Go to the Google campus
Visit the Apple offices
See the Painted Ladies on Alamo Square
H was less than impressed with the Painted Ladies – I guess he just needs to watch more Full House to appreciate it.
Visit Yosemite National Park
Go to Redwood National Park
Spend a weekend at Lake Tahoe
Wine tasting in Napa and Sonoma
Santa Cruz boardwalk
Visit Half Moon Bay
And, look, we’ve already crossed a couple of things off our list!
