How do you get your neutrients from a veggie diet?

A lot of my friends are going veggie, but I am concerned about their health. They are going to be losing out on a lot of nutrients from proteins, so how can they stay healthy and get all the daily nutrients needed, but in a veggie diet?

Nutritious Veggie Diet. Balance is really important. I am pretty careful to make sure that I always have some protein in my meal, be it through spinach, a soy substitute, nuts, or cheeses. It actually makes cooking much more creative and fun, which was my initial motivation to become vegetarian. The old meat and potatoes kind of routine that I grew up on got old, and I find that really needing to think outside the box to get my nutrients makes me creative in my meals.
