Did you know exercise could be fun? Most people think of exercise as a chore they have to do but that doesn’t have to be the case, there are various ways to exercise & have fun. When I was in South Africa I hiked Table Mountain & the Cape of Good Hope , got plenty of exercise, saw amazing views & loved every minute of it. Naturally, one of the things I was most excited about while in Colorado was hiking the beautiful Rocky Mountains National Park .
The Rockies did not only meet my expectations, they blew them out of the water – the panoramas were absolutely beautiful! The air was fresh & crisp, the wildlife was abundant, the hikes were vast & this nature loving girl was a happy camper. We were in the Rockies for a couple of days so we jammed as many hikes as we could. Here are the hikes we went on & loved:
Words can’t describe how beautiful the Rockies were, you just have to see it for yourself. In all we hiked over 18 miles, got a great workout & loved being out in the mountains. After this trip I know I want to make more of an effort to enjoy nature, explore it, spend time in it; it’s rejuvenating, invigorating, truly a great experience.
Have you hiked any great places? Share them with us, we’d love to hear about them!
