It's cranberry time again and I'm stocking my freezer with cranberries. I like to use them in smoothies all year and they freeze well. I also make cranberry applesauce , it's a Thankgsiving staple. Last year I didn't buy enough cranberries and ran out in August. So this year I am getting a few extra bags.
This smoothie is full of the tastes of fall. It's made from pomegranite, cranberries, oranges, kale and apple. It was a great way to feed the body after my workout this morning.
Music is a great way to feed the soul. I dislike this time of year; it's cold, dark, the air is barren of bird song, and the trees look dead. I long for spring. I switch from walking and running outdoors, to using the treadmill. Stuck indoors, and feeling stuck in a rut. I was tired of the music on my mp3 player. A dear friend recommended some Blues music to me, which I was unfamiliar with. Turns out I love it! Having something new to listen to changed my attitude and made returning to the treadmill fun.
