Fiber: Are You Gettin’ It?
Learn about the wonderful world of fiber and how truly important it is. Fiber, the plant roughage only found in plant-based foods, is what our bodies require to remove harmful toxins, chemicals, and such from our bodies. Without enough fiber, our bodies continue to reabsorb these cancer-promoting substances and prevent our bodies from removing the excess. Crucial for digestion, reducing cholesterol, eliminating waste hormones, and helping us stay full, fiber is a key ingredient in staying healthy for the long run!
Dairy is not all its been cracked up to be. One of the biggest problems we are facing in this country is obesity, most likely do to our obsession with dairy products. This week, we’ll explore the wonderful world of dairy alternatives! Or better yet, “Deliciousness: Dairy-Free.” So many amazing sources of calcium and protein, so little time!
