Bowling, Beer, and Biscuits

Posted Jan 15 2012 1:12pm
So I have been thinking about something for about a month now and it starts with a "b" ( it doesn't rhyme with maybe) - bowling!  Before we met our friends at the lanes, I cooked Forrest a pizza and added extra fresh basil...
Pizza - check, beer - checked, cellular device - check, computer - check.
While Forrest ate, I got ready for our bowling tournament.... "Are you trying to start a new fashion trend because it will be a fail.  Woof woof!" The husband took his own ball that he won from a radio station in Montgomery over a year ago.  Finally putting it to use. I sorta kinda really loved my bowling shoes. Jeremy and Bonnie were up first - they stood there for a bit admiring the pins and picking out the perfect bowling ball. Bowling pros. Patrica Lanes offered beer and we gladly accepted. Fun fact:  Our friend, Bonnie, attended bowling camp as a kid.  She won "Best Form" Friday Night Strikes. Sista K ended up being the winner of the girls' game and  Justin  beat the guys.I'm ready for a re-match.      After our bowling game, Forrest and I went home, crashed, and then I woke up to these.... Forrest made semi-homemade, crazy shaped biscuits and coffee.     We had 359 errands to run Saturday morning and decided to take Sal along for the ride. Salvador hates my kisses but it's ok because..... the feeling is mutual.     We bought Salvie a new bed (because he ate this old one), went to Lowe's for some manly tools, dropped the car off for an oil change, and then we took Salvie to the Westgate walking trail to stretch his legs..... Guy bonding time in the great outdoors. Sal is always on the sniff for poop.  Gross, I know.     By now you all know my love for movies (the last one I watched in a theater was Titanic), so the husband decided it was a grand idea to sign us up for Netflix.  Our wild Saturday night consisted of movies, La Parilla-to-go, and more brew.... I liked the colorful label and bottle top - Forrest liked the liquid brewness inside.     Psssttt...did you notice that it was finally cold this weekend?!?!!!! You wouldn't know it by the expression on my face but I'm really happy about the lower temps!
