I guess it would be more appropriate for this to be entitled what I drank Wednesday as I am currently undertaking a juice reboot. These are my eats drinks from yesterday. I started the day with my usual hot water and lemon, I added some grated ginger and cayenne pepper to help me get over my cold!
I then headed off to the gym where I did my second Best Body Bootcamp workout. Today’s workout was intervals, I wasn’t feeling up to running so I decided to do the workout on the stationary bike as I thought it would be easier on my body which is trying to fight off this grim cold! The workout was pretty good, I can’t wait to do it on a treadmill though!
Once I got back I had the first juice of the day which was Lime, Apples, Pineapple, Cucumber, Avocado, Superfood Smoothie Powder, Probiotic Powder and some frozen banana. I made a massive double batch of this so I could have some for breakfast and then some mid morning, save messing around with the juicer again!
After the rest of my juice, I prepped the rest of my juices to take to work for my 12-9 shift. I made a juice for lunch which included Apples, Carrot, Celery, Kale, Spinach, Watercress, Parsley, Cucumber, Broccoli, Alfalfa, Beetroot, Zucchini, Lemon and Ginger. Wow that was a long list of ingredients! Love the zingyness of the ginger in this, it certainly helps with the cold!
I’m lucky in that I can walk home on my lunch/dinner break as it only takes me around 10 minutes, I like to get some fresh air as I hate being stuck inside! I made another double batch of juice to have for dinner and some later on. This juice was Pineapple, Celery, Cucumber, Spinach, Lime, Apples, Avocado and Ice.
I finished up by juicing 3 apples, warming them on the hob and sprinkling with masses of cinnamon. I loved this it was so warming and cosy! I lashed in the cinnamon as I am totally addicted, anyone else?
