The finest Lebanese experience and a happy orange Saturday!

First things first – great news for all of us who were affraid of turning orange because of our love for orange food!

The Benefits of Orange Fruits and Vegetables . So go and enjoy a big bowl of pumpkin soup, a plate full of coconut oil glazed carrots, a glass of orange juice or anything you like. I always thought I was doing the right thing :D

Yesterday I went for a dinner with a friend of mine and we visited a very good restaurant, that I would like to highlight here :) Near the really pretty building of the Dancing House I have already mentioned here there is this nice, cosy restaurant called The Traveler´s Club . You may pass it and leave it totally unnoticed at first, but it would be a serious mistake!

The interior looks very pretty with all those oriental decorations, but it is not “over-done”, it looks comfortable and you feel like you have just entered a house of a generous Lebanese family. But the main thing – the meals! They have a huge selection of both vegan and non-vegan dishes from starters (their hummus is the best I have ever had, they also offer baba ganoush, various cheeses, dips, filled pastry), soups (their lentil soup even won a prize :) , salads, pitas etc. to a tasty selection of desserts and teas, including the typical and super tasty masala tea. I have been there twice and I was a very happy customer both times :) Yesterday I had hummus, a salad from seasonal veggies and a pita bread. My friend had a grilled chicken with American potatoes…well, let´s say she is probably not a big fan of oriental cuisines and of experimenting with unusual meals :) I enjoyed our dinner very much, though. Last time I went there, I had a mix plate of various dishes, that included hummus, tabbouleh, falafel and pastry roll filled with mushroom mixture. It was so tasty and filling! Seriously I could eat hummus and falafel all day long :D Also I love their dinnerware, there are those lovely camels all over it!

On another note, I made a new lunch creation yesterday! This is millet with cardamom, raisins, almonds and raspberry jam. So it is basically the same combo as my breakfast except for flaxseeds and with a substitution oats —-> millet. But it was tasty :)

So what else to say? Maybe happy Saturday, enjoy the very best weekend and have a lot of fun whatever you do :)
