This was a really good week of training. I finally feel like I’m finding my groove at a faster pace. While it’s not easy for me, and probably never will be, it’s definitely becoming more natural.
I did a 3-miler on Tuesday night and a 5-mile tempo run on Thursday morning.
I notice my muscles are always tight on Friday after that. I decided to take this Friday as a rest day instead of cross training to give them a rest. I wanted fresh legs for Saturday.
As I mentioned in my race recap from Saturday , I set some very specific time goals for both the 5K and 10K. I was excited to be able to achieve both of them. It was really encouraging as I head into the last few weeks of this training plan.
