Recipe! RAW Pizza! Portobello Mushroom Crust with Sunflower Cheese

This is the first time I made this kind of pizza. The crust is simply the cap of a portobello mushroom. Brilliant! I have seen a couple of recipes but decided not to look anything up and just fly by the seat of my pants. How hard can it be? Wow, it smells really good. It lifted out easily and is firm and dry on the outside. I was afraid it would get drippy but it did not. Perfection.

I chopped it into four pieces with my handy chopping knife. Good knives are the best thing you can have as a chef, be ye raw or cooked, vegan or (blech) animal eater. Get good knives. I haunt thrift stores and find nice ones.

The presentation. Not bad. Red lettuce with sunflower seed sprinkles and a dollop of seed cheese, because. It's good.

Side view. The marinara got absorbed into the cheese or the mushroom, I am not sure which.
This is like a stuffed mushroom but on a large scale. If you like mushrooms, you will LOVE this.
