Question by *Haley*: How difficult is it to become a vegetarian after 18 years of eating meat?
I know several people who are vegetarians and they seem to be extremely healthy. I would like to try to become a vegetarian, for health reasons and the fact that it can make you lose weight. I like most fruits and veggies, but my entire life I have been eating meat. Chicken, beef, fish, liver mush, bacon etc. Has anyone here been a total carnivore and then did a complete 180 to a vegetarian? And also could you list some pros and cons of vegetarianism? Thank you in advance
Answer by Lsg I would recommend that you limit yourself to just chicken at first, because that is hard for most people to give up. Then begin to alternative the chicken with tofu and protein and gradually go from there.
Answer by kobe_887 My mother did this exact same thing. She gave up meat last year as her resolution and it’s been over a year since she is eaten meat. I am not sure how she does it because my dad, sister and I still eat it on a regular basis. She states she doesn’t miss it because there are so many other food options and meat replacements. She has a lot of the Boca products.
Answer by John Man is meant to eat meat. Everyone needs meat in their diet.
