Ok, that sounds odd but I wanted to blog about winning a Cloer toaster from Frieda atLovin' from the Oven!! I feel like a kid on Christmas morning!
Yes, these are raw and they are delicious!
Unfortunately I didn’t do much measuring with this one so you’ll have to play around with it.Being it’s a great tasting mixture you can’t really go wrong with amounts.
Ground sunflower seeds ( at least 1.5 cups – grind extra just in case)
Ground pecans and walnuts (1/2 cup each - small pieces)
6 or so cherry tomatoes
A mix (pureed) of 2 organic carrots, 7 green onions, 2 celery ribs, 1 green chili pepper and parsley.
3-4 big portobella mushrooms, diced and then marinated for 2 hours in:2 TB olive oil, some apple cider vinegar, lemon juice and soy sauce (approx. 2 TB), you can add a little water if it looks too dry.
Seasonings: coriander, paprika, dehydrated onion, ground red pepper, minced garlic, sea salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.Adjust as needed.
After the mushrooms marinate blend all ingredients in food processor.If the mix is too wet add more ground sunflower seeds.
Form into patties and then dip into a mix of finely ground walnuts mixed with paprika.
You can eat these as is but dehydrating will firm them up and darken them.The burger pictured was dehydrated.
