Holy Cow. Between traveling last weekend and starting the plan on Monday I feel like I’ve been running around like a mad woman.
Last week was intense to say the least. Ten workouts in one week is just as exhausting as it sounds. It is however, easy to fall into the two-a-day routine. I’m really liking the shorter workouts before and after work. I’m also really enjoying having three different sports to train in. After spending the last 9-months training for running only races I was glad to put some good time on the bike and in the water.
The first week of training was certainly a week of firsts. I was able to make it to my first Open Water swim with the Mad Dogs . I also got out on my new triathlon bike for the first (and second) time. I made a goal to get 2 open water swims in a month. Here we are 4 days into June and I can already check that off my goal list!
