My knees started to bother me a bit the last few days due to the increase in distance. I decided to go for my ride as planned on Saturday but opted for Yoga and ice instead of a long run on Sunday. I am absolutely sure that was the best decision.
As I mentioned in my last post, I realized this week that the bike makes me more nervous than the swim at this point. I am encouraged by the fact that I was not absolutely wrecked after my 50 mile ride on Saturday . I still feel like I have a long way to go, but I’m getting there.
The highlight of my week – I made it out to the Mad Dogs swim on Wednesday and swam a mile in open water! I was really stoked about that.
