Question by delia: I stick to a vegan diet regime and have food allergies. What are some great choices for consuming out and/or at house?
I normally have no difficulty locating vegetarian/vegan possibilities at any restaurant. However, considering that I have discovered of my food allergies (sesame, sunflower, tree nuts,) I have been reluctant to eat at restaurants! It’s challenging adequate to uncover choices to consume at property (considering that numerous vegan options contain sunflower oil.) How can I discover away to eat out or even at dinner parties? I am humiliated to tell hosts all of my dietary restrictions!

Answer by Farah B If you are feeling social anxiety about your food allergies, then no obligation to inform the hosts of the dinner parties. Just bring a homemade dish to the dinner celebrations that you know is “safe” for you to eat. Cheers!
Answer by Peenky Can you consume anything with E.V.O.O. (added virgin olive oil) If so try grilling some portobello mushrooms, coating it with small bit of EVOO, and a dash of salt and some minced garlic. Stuff it wil grilled eggplants, or grilled bell peppers, or tofu… and then leading it off with dried cranberries… then bake for about 15 min… it is amazing! < a new meal I just tried the other day!
Another thing you can try is grill some pineapple chunks, sweet potatoes (cut into squares), and a jicama (sliced into tiny lines). then top with a tiny honey (if you are a vegan that eats honey) or alternative honey with brown sugar, then sprinkle some hot peppers... It's a hot fruity salad!
