High Tea

Posted Sep 11 2009 2:19pm

The unexpectedly cold, rainy. gloomy weather weve had in Adelaide the last few days has brought out my crafty side. I have so many projects i want to do, and so many fabrics i want to use up, i just don't seem to get around to doing them. Hopefully this is just the beginning of my makings for the colder part of the year.
Next month its my 24th birthday. I dont consider turning 24 too much reason to celebrate, it just means another year closer to 30. Either way its my birthday so i thought i would use the opportunity to invite around just a few good friends for high tea. Ive been wanting to hold a high tea since seeing photos from a high tea some friends went to that i missed out on at a place calledJust Tickled Pink(pictured below).

Above photo from Just Tickled Pink website.

I plan on lots of cupcakes, mini vegan crossants and scones with jam and vegan cream...as well as pretty teacups and teapots...and tea of course.

So i decided to make some invitations, heres how they turned out...

I love the paper flowers i found in pretty pastel colours. The back paper looks glittery in the light...you cant tell in the photos.

I will deffinately do a post on how it all goes...fingers crossed it works out nicely :)

If you have any ideas of vegan small, savory finger food i could make, if you could let me kno i would really appreciate it.
