Chocolate & Banana Monkey Bread

Doesn’t it look pretty?

  • 2 ripe mashed bananas
  • 1 cup raw sugar
  • 2½ cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 3 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 4 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup soy milk
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • Pre-heat your oven to 450°F.
  1. Mix all ingredients except for the cocoa in a large bowl. Using a second bowl, divide the dough in two and add the cocoa powder to one of the batches. 
  2. Twist the chocolate and vanilla batches together in whatever way you want and place in a floured bread pan — I rolled both batches into long strips and twisted them together. 
  3. Bake for 15-20 minutes and serve warm!
