Question by bessierush: Can you be a vegetarian if you hate beans and lentils?
I am seriously taking into consideration becoming a lacto-vegetarian due to some stomach and digestive wellness difficulties I have been getting. My only difficulty is that I completely hate beans (canned, not green or waxed) and lentils. I just locate the texture is disgusting and I have a truly difficult time eating them (throughout and right after). Does a vegetarian diet program have to consist of these veggies/legumes, or can I consume a thing else as a substitute? Thanks!

Answer by Kev P attempt soya and tofu as substitutes and experiment with the veg you can get, there is a lot of choice out there.
Answer by dianesomeone effectively if you actually hate beans and lentils it might possibly be hard to get enough protein…..I guess possibly tofu but you do not want to over do the soy thing either…..
