Our poor little guy was feeling under the weather today. He seemed in good spirit most of the day, but he had one major case of runny nose and watery eyes that got him very frustrated a few times. This is only his second time ever being sick, which leaves me without much mom-experience in the illness department. But the little man was really wanting to take a bubble bath, and it reminded me of a product I’d seen at Target last time I purchased his shampoo.
I’ve been using California Baby’s Calming shampoo and body wash on him for awhile now. I love it because it doesn’t have any harsh ingredients, it’s organic, and it’s vegan! And what a bonus that I found what I was looking for without having to order online! Last time I picked up a refill I wasn’t in any hurry, so I was browsing the brand’s different options. I didn’t buy anything more at the time, but this morning when the little man was wanting a bubble bath, I remembered noticing their Cold & Flu Aromatherapy Bubble Bath .
The husband offered to pick some up, and I’m so glad we got it, because it really seemed to do the trick. Little Man was so excited to play in the bubbles and the soothing scent of eucalyptus really seemed to make him feel better. He stayed in the bath playing until practically all the bubbles had popped and the water was starting to cool off. When he got out he ran around playing and giggling as if he were feeling 100% and it was so great to see him acting like himself. The magic eventually wore off and he crawled himself into bed requesting to be read to, but I’ll definitely use this bubble bath again tomorrow if he still isn’t feeling well! I have to get him well in time for his birthday Friday!!
