Last weekend, my local farmers market had a great deal on fresh blueberries . We love these superfruits, try to eat them a few times a day, in breakfast shakes, in muffins and even on salads. So when we spied a fantastic bargain like this, we couldn’t control ourselves and nearly bought the lot.
After baking an obscene amount of blueberry-packed treats for friends and family, I decieded to search for alternative ways to use these yummy fruits.
I stumbled on this blog, Sweetonveg.com , loads of terrific vegan recipes. I browsed her site for a bit and found the most magnificent, easy to prepare, no mess, dessert. Thankfully, the night before, I had the right mind to freeze a bag of blueberries – because after seeing this pic and reading that recipe, I immediately flew outta my chair and into the kitchen. We had to try it.
Success! The entire family loved it, kids were screaming for more.
