So a friend of mine told me about this book by Alejandro Junger called "Clean". It is a 3 week cleanse that has done all these amazing things for people like...lower choesterol & high blood pressure, clear your skin, reverse the signs of aging, boost the immune system, heal auto immune diseases, the list literally goes on & on!
The problems that can be fixed on "Clean" are very similar to the Candida Cleanse (which I've done a few times in the past), except this cleanse seems easier because I can have fruit!!! YAY!
Why am I doing yet another cleanse?
Because my friends, they are AMAZING for the body. I've done about two a year since I started having health problems four years ago. Last year at this time I did "20 Day's of Raw Food" & felt so good! I learned a lot about food choices and how much more efficiently the body uses uncooked foods!
Not going into dete's about "Clean" mainly because it was hard enough for me to tare myself away from a good novel for info I've already read in all my other detox books. I might have skipped around the book alittle/lot. Basically, when I saw the actual diet involved, I knew it was legit.
Basically you have a Liquid Breakfast, Lunch from the "Allowed Foods" list, and a Liquid dinner. You have to make sure that dinner and breakfast are at least 12 hours apart.
DAY ONE of "21 Day's Clean"
*Breakfast: Almond Milk (I didn't go grocery shopping yet so that's all I had.)
*Lunch: Mushroom and Onion Stir-fry over Quinoa, Zuchini, Cilantro-Avocado Salad. (Literally threw this together.)
