Hello, my friends! Thank you so much for all your well wishes. I’ve been feeling a lot better, still not perfect, but I’m seeing the surgeon every three days so he can keep an eye on my sockets. Phew, I’m sure glad I don’t have to do all that ever again! While I was still in a lot of pain, I received a little package in the mail from my dad. Guess what was inside!

Vegan vanilla “cream” eggs and vegan peeps! How awesome is that?! I have a pretty great dad, huh?! I have such a thing for Easter candy. Most people pack on a couple of pounds around winter holidays, but not me. For me, it was always Easter-candy-time. Now my veganism saves me those extra pounds because vegan “Cadbury eggs” aren’t a Walmart away, but I’m thrilled to be able to order a few vegan treats from the vegan Easter bunny.

My dad ordered these mini “cream eggs” from Pangea Vegan Store. Unfortunately, as I look for the link, I see they are sold out, but they do have other still available. If you do come across these mini vegan eggs filled with creamy vanilla goodness, I highly recommend them. They’re definitely still sticky sweet without being quite as overwhelming as I remember those non-vegan chocolate eggs being.
