Getting that perfect Holiday gift for the triathlete swimmer in your life is not easy...that is until today. In this video EMT contributor Dave Erickson provides you with the top stocking suffers that will make any endurance athlete jump for joy when they see what Santa brought them.
Christmas shopping for the multisport athlete(s) in the family is actually pretty easy unless they're sponsored, in that case maybe they should be hooking you up?! If they're not sponsored then you have lots of options and many of the items they want can fit nicely in their stockings over the fireplace.
Below is my list of Christmas stocking stuffers for swimmers plus a direct link to where you can buy each, most from Amazon.com. Not everything on this list fits in a sock but most of it will. Happy shopping!
Speedo Silicone Swim Cap ($6): Lightweight and durable cap that is designed to hold a dome shape and rounded fit with no wrinkles, which reduces drag. The silicone allows the head to breathe for a more comfortable fit and can be stretched to more than double its original size. Quick and easy to take on and off without snagging hair.
TYR Technoflex 4.0 Performance Goggle ($10): Features breakthrough technology to customize the feel and structure of the goggle. This technology allows different harnesses of Thermo Plastic Rubber or TPR to be placed in specific locations. Softer TPR around the face and firmer TPR along the nosebridge and around the lens. Optically clear, shatter resistant Lexan polycarbonate lenses are UV protected and anti-fog coated. Ratchet side clips allow for easy tightening of headstrap.

Speedo Optimus Swim Training Fins ($20-$25): Train more effectively with the Optimus Training Fins. The notched fin distributes force more evenly during a kicking cycle, allows for the natural uninterrupted flow of a flutter kick. The slip resistant treat on the heel keep feet stable on the bottom and sides of the pool.
Speedo Contoured Swim Paddles ($15): Contoured swim paddles help to develop proper stroke mechanics. These are contoured to fit any hand and reduce fatigue. Great training aid to improve freestyle stroke and gain muscle endurance.
