Seventeen hours seems like a long time to cover 140.6 miles, but for some amateur athletes those last 30 minutes are by far the most important minutes of a very long race day.
It is in that last 30 minutes before midnight their all of the training, effort, expectations, and of course hopes and dreams comes to a glorious crescendo of victory.
