It was a Ironman star-studded-spectator field in Boulder, Colorado today as Andy Potts used the fastest swim of the day to catapult him to victory at Ironman 70.3 Boulder.
Both current Ironman Champions Chrissie Wellington and Graig Alexander were on hand to watch as Andy Potts took the race day victory ahead of Tyler Butterfield (2nd) and Stephen Hackett (3rd).
Potts was well in the lead when he exited the swim leg of the race, but by the end of the bike potion he had Hackett on his heals.
However Potts eased away from his rivals on the run to take the race victory in a time of 3:46:50.
Check out this exclusive EverymanTri video below as Potts crosses the finish line first and talks about what it's like to race when all of your peers are watching your very stroke, pedal and step.
