Triathlon America names the best companies & athletes in the triathlon industry in 2010

Also, here's the list of winners from this weeks awards gala honoring the best companies, programs and athletes in the triathlon industry in 2010.

Submissions and rankings were determined by the National Voting Panel (NVP) consisting of all Triathlon America founding members and 10 additional award panel members prominent within the industry including Triathlon icons Mark Allen, Dave Scott, Paula Newby-Fraser, Karen Smyers as well as NBC Today Show host Natalie Morales.  Below is a list of those who won

EMMA MOFFATT, Australia, 26 years old she had a very strong season finishing 2nd ITU Budapest, 2nd ITU Sprint World’s, 2nd ITU Hamburg and Kitzbuehel event thus giving her the Overall ITU Series Winner Title.

JAVIER GOMEZ ESP, 28 years old.  Javier had a season to remember, 1st ITU Hamburg, London, 2nd at Kitsbuhel and Budapest and the ITU Overall Series winner.

CHRISSIE WELLINGTON GBR, 33 years old. 1st 70.3 Kansas, 1st at Timberman 70.3 and 1st at Roth, and 1st IM Arizona with new Ironman world best of 8:36:13.

CHRIS MCCORMACK AUS, 37 years old.  3rd at IM Germany, 1st at TriStar Worms, 4th Escape from Alcatraz and the Ford IM World Champion for the 2nd time.
