Someone Turned 5 and Crossing the Bridge

Posted Jan 24 2012 12:08pm
I can't believe this little guy turned 5. Holy smokers does time fly when you are having a blast:) I feel so cliche saying "that it feels like only yesterday when we brought him home from the hospital", but that is SO true. Everyday is a new adventure with him and I LOVE IT! The Dude wanted an "Angry Bird" themed party - so Glamma got work and made these AWESOME Angry Bird masks for each of the kids

His sister joined the party too

And when the grocery store won't make you the cake you want because of copy write issues - you improvise

Happy #5 Dude - now you can chew gum (sometimes)

You are VERY LOVED XoXoX!

Wow - I have been running from work for over 4 years now and until just recently I have stayed on one side of the bridge. Well that has changed and I am SO happy that I have decided to "cross the bridge". Ahhhhh - what beauty you can find even in over cast and rainy days. We sure do live in a beautiful city.

I have mapped out a few more runs to change it up a bit and it's been SO good for the soul:)
I haven't done many runs over 10 miles in the last few weeks - actually the longest run I've done since my last marathon has been 17 miles. I think I am going to back out of the Birch Bay marathon. With busy lives and getting sick over the holidays I just don't feel ready. I may do the 1/2 marathon - but that decision I will make over the next few weeks.

Cheers!
