So here is an email I've been waiting for quite sometime now that I got today...
"Dear Athlete,
You are being contacted because you have earned a spot on the Team USA roll down list for 2008 Long Course Triathlon World Championships because of your finish at the 2007 PrairieMan. Note: this letter does not mean you have automatically qualified for Team USA , it is simply informing you of your position on the roll down list.
The 2008 World Championships are set to take place August 30-31 in Almere, Holland . For more information about the World Championships please visit the Team USA website (http://www.usatriathlon.org/AthleteFocus/TeamUSA/LongCourseTriathlon.aspx). After looking at this site, if you have any questions, let us know.
Automatic qualifiers from the PrairieMan were given two weeks (until January 4) to register for Team USA . If an automatic qualifier declines their spot, then the next roll down athlete in that age group will be contacted and offered a spot on Team USA . If you are contacted and offered a spot, you will have one week to accept your spot.
Please remember that if you wish to be on Team USA , you must be a current annual USAT member through the date of the World Championship. If you need to renew your membership, you may visit: https://www.usatmembership.com/default.aspx.
Please respond to this email by January 4, 2008 with a yes or no answer as to whether or not you wish to join Team USA should a spot be offered to you. In that response, please include your first and last name, age group, and your yes/no response. If we do not receive a response by January 4, it will be our understanding that you have chosen to decline your potential spot and you will not be contacted if there is an opening in your age group.

Sadly to say I'm declining my spot. Doing an IM and Team USA internationally in a few months of each other isn't finacially possible!
Don't worry I'm ok about it... I'll go back again... finish what I srated in L'Orient this past summer.
