"Caltrans will shut down southbound state Route 163, from Interstate
8 to Interstate 5, from 2 a.m. to noon. Several freeway on-ramps and
offramps on I-5 and I-8 will also be closed near the race course.
The 26.2-mile course will run through Balboa Park,
downtown San Diego, Mission Valley, Bay Park, Old Town and other
neighborhoods."
The race starts at 6:30 in the morning on Sunday and will go on early afternoon.
Organizers are expecting over 20,000 runners to race through the heart of downtown along the 26.2 mile race course.
