It was a repeat performance for both Matt Reed and Sarah Haskins at the Lifetime Fitness Triathlon in Minneapolis, Minnesota as both triathletes ran to repeat podiums today.
Matt Reed used the strength of his run to beat an early charging Cameron Dye and Matt Chrabot who both barely beat Reed out of the water.
Dye tried to use the bike to gain a small advantage over both Reed and Chrabot with Ironman champion Craig Alexander in the hunt for the podium as well.
But the boys got to the run portion on the race it was Reed over Chrabot by a slim 5 second margin with Alexander filling out the 3rd podium position.

On the women's side of the race it was all American Sara McLarty on the swim. Once the bike she was closely followed by American triathletes Rebeccah Wassner, Sarah Haskins and Australia’s Pip Taylor, who has been racing on the Ironman 70.3 series recently.
on the run Haskins stayed out front to take the eventual win even tough she was chased by a hard charging Rebeccah Wassner who eventually finished second for the day.
The next race in the Lifetime Fitness Triathlon series is the New York City Triathlon next Sunday, July 18.
