San Francisco's 2010 ING Bay to Breakers may be best known for wacky costumes, or in some case no costumes at all, but this year's race will go into records as Kenyan Lineth Chepkurui broke the women's race record in a time of 38:07.
On the men's side of the race, for a second year in a row Kenya's Sammy Kitwara took home the victory in the 12 kilometer, or 7.46 mile
race, in a time of 34:15.
He managed to just beat second place finisher and fellow Kenyan Peter Kirui.
In total 32,000 runners official ran annual running of the ING Bay to Breakers, but thousands of runners are known to bandit the race.
Part of the fun each year are the zany costumes that runners wear, and this year was no exception.
