NYC Marathon lottery results available at noon today

New York Road Runners just announced the biggest field of amateur athletes to ever run the race.
For the second year in a row the race has attracted over 100,000 applicants who want to run through the five-boroughs of New York in the fall.
The race is expected to top over 40,000 runners this year which means that your chances of getting into the 2009 running of the New York City Marathon is less than 50 percent.
According to the AP the lottery was held yesterday and results will be announced today:
"Marathon rookie Jeff Mead of New York, and Anette Hagen of Virginia
Beach, Va., were the first two names selected in the U.S. lottery.
