15 seconds..that was the time difference between Lance Armstrong and Ironman Chris Lieto in today's first ever TTT (Twitter Time Trial) showdown.
The two Trek sponsored athletes raced against the clock down the Queen-K highway on the big island this morning.
After the race Armstrong posted this photo of his bike's power meter's read out proving his final time.
Unofficial (official times):@lancearmstrong gets 18:35 and @chrislieto gets 18:50. Lance by 15 seconds.
While Chris Lieto Tweeted:
"First hard effort of the year. Happy with that. Look forward to the next one in May."
"That Kona wind made for a LONG ride back to the start. Thanks @ for a great ride! Time will post soon."
"My time 4 the 1st ever twitter TT. @ 2nd - 15 secs back. Post ur times here. Thx for coming out!"

As you may (or may not) be aware both Armstrong and Lieto are on the big island of Hawaii training.
While 15 seconds may not seem like a lot of time it could be translate into an eternity over the 112 mile Ironman course if and when Armstrong decides he's ready to race the Ironman World Championships, but than again today Armstrong didn't have to run after the TTT showdown.
Armstrong says he'll race the Ironman World Championships as soon as next year.
The winner of today's TTT race, beside Armstrong, may end up being Trek, as this TTT burned up the charts of many social media platforms...which is great for Trek as the Wisconsin based bike company sponsors both professional athletes.
