Ironman Kona Week Monday video: The swim take a run to 'DigMe' Beach with Ben

Posted Oct 05 2009 10:00pm

Digme

So how do you suppose that 2500 triathletes fit on a beach the size of an old elementary school sand box.

Because that the size of Kona, Hawaii's famous but tiny "DigMe" Beach where Ben Greenfield take you on a jog today.

It only seems appropriate that the first day of our Kona Week coverage we visit the famous beach that just 5 days from now will host the start of the 2009 Ironman World Championship.

Check out the report below that Ben filled today as he jogs down to the famous beach that will be very very crowded very very soon.

Ben Greenfield is the Renaissance man of the sport of triathlon.

He's a fast triathlete, a coach, a personal trainer, and much more more.

We recommend that you surf on over to
