Greg Bennett Interview pre- Life Time Triathlon 2008
Posted Jul 21 2008 10:05am
Part one of two of the Greg Bennett pre - Life Time Fitness Triathlon video interview shot in Minneapolis two days before the race. iwilltri.com asks Bennett about the Toyota Series, Brett Sutton (now of Team TBB) as a coach, the famous “treadmill workout” where he ran all out for 35 seconds, then rested for 25 seconds while Sutton read two newspapers, and the final preparations for his wife Laura Bennett head of the Beijing Olympics. Greg dominated in 2007 and was easily the best male short course triathlete of the year, rising to first versus deep fields across the whole United States. Unfortunately Australia missed having a complete team of three athletes for Beijing, so Greg will not be going to the Olympics although he will be there to support Laura. He is one of my favorite triathletes to interview and a true student of the sport - plus he can run sub five minute pace for a 10k in a non-drafting triathlon, now that is F A S T.
