Free Stuff Friday is postponed a few days. I've had a busy week. I've had several folks ask about cramping in races. So, I'm actually going to look around for more than anecdotal evidence. It may just come from books that I've read or something more official, but I'll keep it layman oriented. I have a good idea of what I want to write, but I want it to be 'accurate'.
So, training this week has been good. 2 solid run workouts, a couple of good swims, and a few good rides. It has been a good week of training.
Sunday is the first annual 'Champions Triathlon' presented by Red Licorice events. They are working hard to make it a good event, and they are a local company. I suspect it will go well. Saturday is a women's only sprint race, and Sunday is a co-ed olympic distance and elite olympic distance. There's local pride on the line and money 3 places deep. There are several pros from out of state coming and some top local folks, so I suspect it will be a tough race. Saturday you can come by Bicycle Sport Shop for the 'autograph' session from 1-3pm. Amy and I will be there from 2-3.
